Research grants will provide up to
$3,000 to cover expenses of the project. Reimbursable expenses
include, but are not limited to, supplies including copy and
materials costs, student assistants, postage, travel, equipment,
etc. Indirect costs of the institution will not be covered
except as necessary on a cost plus basis. Expenses will be
reimbursed as incurred over $500.
Completed project proposals will
include the following:

description of the research, including but not limited
to, the study’s objectives, theoretical or literature
background, research design, and expected publication
targets (3-5 pages) |

Data collection instruments or a thorough description thereof, pre-tested if possible |

Time budget for work not to exceed two years |

Preference will be given to projects that are best developed and
demonstrate the most promise of achieving the funding goal of
the EFWA Research Grants committee.
Applications for the research grant
are due by May 1. Applications will be reviewed by the
Research Grants committee of the Educational Foundation for
Women in Accounting, and the successful candidate, if any, will
be selected by June 30.
